Uses and characteristics

Excellent defoaming and foam-suppressing properties, suitable for eliminating microbubbles in high-viscosity and solvent-free systems.

Scope of application

It is particularly suitable for epoxy floor coatings, screen printing inks, UV inks, unsaturated polyester systems, etc.

Added amount

The addition amount is 0.01-1.00% of the total paint volume. Adding it before grinding or stirring yields the best antifoaming effect. It can also be added afterward, but must be thoroughly stirred. Its compatibility needs to be investigated when used in transparent systems.

Because of its high activity, it can be diluted to 10% with an aromatic solvent before adding. Since hydrophobic particles are prone to precipitation, it is recommended to use the diluted solution immediately.

Precautions

1. Product U-537 is stored in a sealed square container. Please confirm this before use. This product is thixotropic; its viscosity may increase over time or at low temperatures, which is normal. It is recommended to stir well before use to facilitate application. This product should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight, heat sources, and fire sources.

2. The shelf life of U-537 products is one year.
